I graduated as a Master of Computer Science from NC State in 2025 and I am currently working as a software engineer at Amazon. I got the opportunity to apply my software engineering skills to a domain I had never heard of - bioinformatics! While working at the Carbone lab I developed multiple tools from scratch, the major ones being besthits and treemix related workflows. Working with Prof. Ignazio Carbone was a great learning and problem-solving experience which will always be a core memory for me.  When I am not working, you can find me watching movies, doing photography or playing piano. I take way more photos than I post; @shutter0_0eye is just the tip of an iceberg that lives on my hard drive
